As a pastor, I learned that mission trips have a dual benefit.  God works through the mission volunteers to meet many needs and share the gospel in other parts of the country or world.  God also works in the missionaries.  Mission trips can be a life changing experience.

How are we changed through a mission experience?

• We see more clearly the mission field and understand that this world is full of many different people groups who need Jesus Christ.
• We are more burdened for the lost .
• We pray more .
• We grow in our obedience to be “on mission” with God.

I believe that the DBA Annual Worship Celebration can have this same kind of impact on someone.  I am not aware of a more diverse gathering of followers of Jesus Christ in Dallas each year.

When you attend, you will see a glimpse of what a diverse mission field that Dallas has become.  Most of our fellow citizens do not have a personal relationship with Christ.  You will also join with believers from many different ethnicities in celebrating how our Lord is at work in this harvest field.  It can be a life changing experience.
