“Dallas area congregations are collaborating with non-profits in creative ways to improve food security.”

Almost 25 percent of Dallas County residents are at risk for hunger, including children. Do you want to be part of the solution? Dallas- area churches are collaborating with non-profits in creative ways to improve food security.

Find out more by attending the Hunger Solutions Breakfast on Friday, May 5, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. at Cliff Temple Baptist Church, 125 Sunset Ave., Dallas, TX 75208.

At the breakfast, you’ll meet hunger solution practitioners and learn how your congregation can serve with them to provide solutions to hunger in Dallas. Our keynote speaker is Mark Pierce, the liaison for homeless students attending Dallas Public Schools.

Other non-profits represented include Souper Bowl of Caring, Texas Hunger Initiative, North Texas Food Bank, Sharing Life Outreach, Crossroads Community Services, GROW North Texas, and the Community Partner Program. You’ll meet their leaders and learn more about the work of these great organizations.

We hope to see you there!
