Church Planting Fund
One of Dallas Baptist Association’s primary emphases is seeing God plant new churches throughout our area. The funds for this come largely from our churches’ giving to our regular budget. Some churches, though, contribute an additional amount to our church planting fund. These funds are used specifically for encouraging brand new congregations.

Child Safety and Abuse Prevention
Dallas Baptist Association churches should have child protection policies that are consistently practiced to protect children and families from abuse. Though we recommend that your church’s policy contain these elements, churches should develop their own policies that appropriately reflect their unique circumstances. We advise that an attorney review each church’s child protection policy.

DBA Church Plants and “Cooperative Giving”
Like all DBA churches, church plants give to the DBA General Budget to help us all together reach our shared mission field of Dallas and Rockwall Counties. This is referred to as “cooperative giving.”
The suggested amount is 3% of a church’s undesignated receipts. (For church plants, 3% is the expected amount.)
