Dallas Christian Women's Job Corps

Dallas Christian Women's Job Corps and Christian Women's Job Corps--Grand Prairie prepare women for meaningful work by providing classroom instruction and mentors. 

New Creation Bible Church's Hope Coalition is the newest Christian Women's Job Corps ministry in Dallas.  They recently graduated their first class.

 

Christian Men's Job Corps

On July 13, Hope Coalition will begin its Christian Men's Job Corps ministry. Thirteen men are enrolled in the ministry's job readiness classes which will meet on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings.  The ministry's director is James McGlover, a member of New Creation Bible Church.  Brother McGlover is a semi-retired small business owner and serves as the church's administrator.  Men interested in volunteering with the ministry may call Bro. McGlover at 214-328-9187.  Mentors are especially needed.

Goal 2011: Serve at the Dallas Cup Hospitality Center
Ten churches have the opportunity to serve 1/2 day each at the Dallas Cup Hospitality Center at First Baptist Church, Frisco. Host churches will provide and serve hot meals to 200 soccer players and coaches.

the Well Community Seeks Saturday Night Life Volunteers

Join the 2010 meal teams for the Well's Saturday Night Life gathering.  Thirteen groups are needed to provide a meal for approximately  75 people one Saturday  per quarter. 

theWellcommunitythe Well is a community of people working to bring love and health to adults recovering from serious mental illness.  The community focuses on core issues related to mental illness--isolation, hopelessness, and poverty--by offering Community members a restorative environment, healthy relationships, and vocational rehabilitation.  the Well Community is leading the way as Dallas' only faith-based provider of mental health services to low-income people experiencing mental illness.
