How to Join DBA
Churches or church plants desiring to become a member of Dallas Baptist Association:
Please download and complete these forms.
- Submit a completed DBA membership application
- Complete a criminal background check consent form
- Submit an Annual Church Profile.
(Complete as much as possible, skipping parts that do not apply to your church) - Child Protection Policies
(DBA will help with this, if needed) - Doctrinal Statement
(Provide a doctrinal statement or acknowledge agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message.)
(Most DBA churches affirm either the 1963 or 2000 version.) - Constitution and Bylaws
(DBA will help with writing constitution/bylaws, if needed)
In addition, please send:

For Watchcare Member Churches
After one year, the Membership Committee will recommend acceptance of full membership to the Executive Board.
For Provisional Membership Church Plants
The one year requirement may be satisfied by:
- Having already been a church plant of the DBA for longer than one year
- Submitting a letter from their DBA sponsor church supporting the church plan’s membership application
- Receiving the support of their DBA church planting committee.
- Having established a record of monthly giving.
