The Pandemic Church Assistance Fund (PCAF) provides some emergency financial assistance to smaller DBA churches that have been greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eligibility
A DBA church may apply for an amount up to $1000 if it meets the following requirements:
- The church is a current member of Dallas Baptist Association
- The church is a “cooperating” member of Dallas Baptist Association, as defined by DBA’s by-laws. Specifically, the church must have completed the most recent ACP, and the church is a regular financial contributor to the association’s general budget.
- If the church has not completed an ACP, please complete one now.
- A “regular financial contributor” means the church has contributed in the last 12 months.
- The church demonstrates that the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted church finances.
This is a one-time gift. Grants will only be made as long as adequate resources exist.
For churches that are members of Dallas Baptist Association, but they do not meet the “cooperating” requirements:
Because of the crisis that the pandemic has created, DBA is making an exception to our normal financial grant policy. A non-cooperating church that nevertheless is a member church of the association may receive financial assistance of up to $350 if they meet the following requirements:
- The church completes an Annual Church Profile.
- The church provides a letter to Dallas Baptist Association affirming (through a vote or other proper way according to church by-laws) that the church will give monthly for the DBA general fund for the next 12 months.
- The church demonstrates that the pandemic has had a significant impact upon the finances of the church.
This is a one-time gift. Grants will only be made as long as adequate resources exist.
We appreciate the leadership of the Executive Director and the DBA staff for all that you do in assisting us to commit in fulfilling the Great Commission in our life time.
